The Summer Palace is the best-preserved royal garden in Beijing. Boasting over 3000 sites in the garden, it is a virtual museum of traditional Chinese gardening. From the bustling energy of the city, you move on to the tranquil retreat of the Summer Palace with its shimmering lakes. The Summer Palace presents a breathtaking arrangement of lake and landscape, pagodas and pavilions. The Fragrant Hill, as the most beautiful sight in autumn Beijing, wins its fame all over the world with its maple leaves. The park is beautiful in other seasons too. The park has a long history. Palace was built up here for the royal sojourns in Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the 10th year of the Qianlong Era of the Qing Dynasty, Jingyi Garden was set up here which consists of 28 scenic sports and was known as the famous 'three hills and five parks' in the suburbs of the city.

A memorable day-long excursion including a visit to the soul-stirring Great Wall at Badaling section, winding dragon-like across northern China, the only earthly evidence of man visible from space! The Great Wall is located some 86 kilometers northwest of Beijing. The construction of the Great Wall began in the 5th century B.C. during the Spring-Autumn and War States Period. It is one of the greatest construction programs in human history. Total length is over 6000 kilometers. Badaling is one of the most important passes of the Great Wall. Ming Tombs: drive along the Sacred Way, guarded by sculpted stone animals both real and fabulous, which are a photographers delight. The Ming Tombs are the burial site of 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty(1368-1644). Changling, the tombs of Emperor Yong Le, is the biggest and the first built in this area.

The Lama Temple, located in the northeast of Beijing, is the biggest lamasery in Beijing. The construction began in 1694 and its style is a combination of Han and Tibet. There are many precious Buddhist articles and imperial objects of Qing Dynasty. The Temple of Heaven: the consummate expression of the philosophy that architecture is music in solidification, a magnificent complex of buildings, where emperors performed rites and rituals seeking heavens blessings for good harvest.

Wangfujing intersects with East Chang'an Avenue. It has a history of more than 100 years. The street, which is less than one kilometer long, is lined with shops. The best-known shop is the Beijing Department Store. To the north of the department Store is the One World Department Store, hosting a collection of Chinese and foreign name brands and fine quality products. A Fayette presents French features, namely fashions and name brands. The newly-opened Sun Dong'an Market is the largest supermarket in Beijing. It covers a business floor space of 100,000 square meters and sells more than 200,000 kinds of goods. The Oriental Plaza, which is considered another miracle in Chinese architectural history, is scheduled for completion soon. It stands just by the south entrance of Wangfujing.
